Lodging Information
Conference participants must make their own travel and lodging arrangements. Important information on transportation and hotels is provided below.
Air and Ground
Transportation
The Heidrick Ag History Center is located at 1962 Hays
Lane in Woodland, California. From Highway 113, take the
East Main Street exit and head east for several blocks.
Turn right on Douglas Lane (Suburban Propane at the
corner.) Go to Hays Lane and Turn right. Coming from
Sacramento to Woodland on Highway 5, take the Road 102
exit. At the stop sign, go straight, which is Hays Lane.
The Ag History Center is at the end of Hays Lane on the
left. More information about this unique facility is

Sacramento International Airport is an easy 20-minute drive to Woodland or Davis. Shuttle services are available from the airport to either community. Cost is approximately $18/person, one-way (call Davis Airporter at 530-756-6715.) Cab service as also available from the airport at approximately $30-35, one-way. All major car rental agencies are available at the airport as well.
Hotels
A block of rooms has been specially reserved at several
hotels in Davis and Woodland for participants in the
conference (see list below.) To make a reservation
contact the hotel directly and indicate you are attending
the Sustainable Agriculture Conference. The deadline for
reservations at the special rates is February 26,
2001. Reservations are on a space-available
basis and early reservations are encouraged.
