Student Farm Introductory Tour

May 14 from 02:10 PM to 03:00 PM
Bowley Center, UC Davis

Did you know the UC Davis Student Farm offers opportunities for a wide range of hands-on experiences in sustainable agriculture, organic crop production, ecological gardening, environmental education, vineyard care, field and machinery operations and maintenance, and others?  Students can be involved in a variety of ways, including as volunteers, by taking classes, and as interns earning academic credit.  Internship opportunities are both for those who want an overall introduction to farming/gardening or they can be specialized for students who have completed a general internship and would like to dive deeper into a particular aspect of the Student Farm’s management (see list of available internships below).  Now is a great time to learn more and start planning how you can be involved!  No prior experience is necessary for several learning opportunities.

All tours start from the north entrance to the Bowley Center.  See “BC” on map.

Can’t make one of these times, but still want more information?  Feel free to contact Mark Van Horn or Stacey Parker, or visit the Student Farm website.
