Organic Farming Compliance Handbook
A Resource Guide for Western Region Agricultural Professionals

Acknowledgements
This resource guide was developed as part of an educational project funded by the Western Region USDA SARE program, based at Utah State University.  Grant funds supported 2 satellite broadcasts on organic agriculture (http://ext.wsu.edu/noas/) and 4 professional development workshops in California, Oregon and New Mexico in 2003 and 2004.  Materials in this guide were developed in support of these educational programs.  The editors thank George Kuepper, Renee King, Margaret Scoles, Mark Lipson, Jane Sooby, Harriet Behar, Bill Quarles, Miles McEvoy, and Peter Miller for their insightful reviews and help in constructing and editing the binder and for offering suggestions for improvement. We greatly appreciate their work in seeing the trainings and production of this manual through to completion.
