Student Research

Research at Russell Ranch would not happen without student involvement. Undergraduate students currently help sample, harvest, prepare samples for the archives and analyze data for our different crops. An undergraduate internship is now available where students are involved in all parts of Russell Ranch, encompassing field, laboratory and written work. Read the Russell Ranch Internship guidelines here. You can also read reflections from three previous undergraduate interns here. Graduate student involvement has led to numerous research projects and publications from Russell Ranch. If you are interested in working at Russell Ranch, please contact Emma Torbert.

Students can also get involved with sustainable agriculture at UC Davis through the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems undergraduate major or through the Student Farm.
